Position: Field Worker B (Open Space)

Ipswich City Council provides more than 5000 hectares of attractive and useable parkland for the use of the general public. Over 500 Parks and Reserves with an extensive range of facilities have provided areas to suit different leisure and recreational needs.

As Field Worker B (Open Space) you will undertake general grounds maintenance within Robelle Domain at Springfield including the maintenance of turf areas, gardens and minor landscape construction works.

The successful applicant will possess a current "C" Class licence, experience in maintenance of turf and gardens in high profile areas, good written and oral communications skills and excellent customer service skills.

This is a full time position (40.5 hours per week) with a salary in the range of $47,076 to $48,769 per annum, dependent on skills and experience plus a Council contribution to superannuation of up to 12%.
