Position: Technical Report Developer

The Enterprise Business Solutions Branch with a staff of about ninety people provides all Information, Communications and Technology (ICT) support required for Ipswich City Council. This position sits within the Operations section, which is one of three sections reporting to the Enterprise Business Solutions Manager (IT CIO).

The role of the Technical Report Developer is to provide high quality report development, strategic advice and technical troubleshooting relating to Council's Enterprise Application suite of reports, databases and applications.

The person required for this role will have;

• Advanced skills in reporting across and working with Enterprise Application Systems and Oracle Enterprise Resource Systems, including technical view building, metadata layer creation and data warehouse querying.
• Demonstrated experience in design and development of reporting programme solutions including the translations of user requirements, technical design, code development, solution testing and deployment/implementation
• Demonstrated high technical knowledge and skills in technologies including PL/SQL, SQL, SQL plus, Oracle Reports, Oracle Discoverer, Crystal Reporting

This is a full time position with the salary range being $65,792 to $75,722 per annum, dependent on skills and experience, with employer superannuation of up to 12%.
