We currently have the opportunity for an experienced individual to join our organisation as Head of Pricing - Retail Wealth Protection. Reporting to the Director of Pricing and Reinsurance for Wealth Protection and Mature Products the role can be based in either Sydney or Melbourne depending on the successful candidate's preference. This position offers the chance to have significant influence working with the market leader in Retail Insurance.
The responsibilities of the role include:
- Developing the pricing and margin strategy to support the retail insurance propositions and profit targets
- Managing and building a strong team to support the retail insurance book
- Working collaboratively with stakeholders in the development of products and offers
- Supporting and implementation of agreed integration activities in accordance with agreed business cases and timeframes
- Coaching and mentoring of a team (minimum of 6)
To be considered for the position you will possess Pricing expertise with a minimum of 5 years life insurance pricing experience. You will have extensive people management and leadership experience and demonstrated experience in margin and profit management. Exceptional interpersonal skills working with senior internal/external stakeholders is required. Ideally you will hold FIAA or equivalent qualifications, strong tax and life insurance legislative knowledge and life insurance industry knowledge is essential.
