Requirements:

• Ability to demonstrate and display City of Melbourne's Core Values - integrity, courage, respect for staff and others and striving for excellence
• Relative experience in the field of client sponsorship acquisition, servicing and activation for major events, experiential marketing or similar industry
• Highly developed interpersonal skills in order to deal effectively and efficiently with a wide variety of stakeholders that operate at various hierarchical levels
• Ability to work autonomously and work efficiently under pressure
• Excellent written and verbal skills, including the ability to develop productive working relationships, negotiate, present positions and information, as well as the capacity to influence outcomes
• Ability to analyse sales/sponsorship statistics, consumer and industry trends to determine business growth potential
• Excellent lateral and creative thinking skills in approaching product development, activation planning and marketing programs
