Duration: Full Time (35 hours per week) Temporary up to 12 months
Salary: $69 396 - $78 111 + super

Requirements:
  • Proven ability to lead, develop and motivate a team
  • Eligibility for professional membership of the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA)
  • Ability to develop and manage high quality customer services in a library or similar work environment
  • Proven ability to work and consult with community and professional organisations and groups and relate to people from diverse groups, including age, culture and language
  • Ability to provide advice at a senior level on area/s of responsibility and input into the development of policies and future planning for the library service
  • Ability to deal with difficult situations, resolve problems and defuse potential conflict
  • Ability to manage time and plan and organise own work
  • Ability to provide advice on area/s of responsibility and input into the development of policies and future planning for the library service
  • Basic accounting skills and ability to manage budgets
