A qualified and experienced librarian is sought to provide high level legal reference, research and information services to the staff of the ACT Government Justice & Community Safety Directorate. Other duties include supervising 2 staff, conducting training sessions in the use of library resources, compiling a fortnightly Current Awareness Bulletin and cataloging of new material.
ELIGIBILITY & REQUIREMENTS:
A qualification from a tertiary institution in librarianship or information management is essential. Eligibility for professional membership of the Australian Library and Information Association and experience in legal research would be highly desirable.
